Lindy Davies is a prolific actress, actor trainer, director and performance consultant.  Lindy directed the West End production of Old Times, Hedda Gabler at the Chichester Festival, A Month in the Country, Three Days of Rain for the Sydney Theatre Company, and As You Like It for the Bell Shakespeare Company. Lindy was one of the key contributors to the Toronto International Film Festival Talent Lab 2006 and the Indivision Lab in February 2008. A foundation member of The Pram Factory, Lindy has worked extensively as an actress, receiving an AFI Award for her performance in the film Malcolm. She is a recipient of the Sidney Myer Performing Arts Special Citation, and the Monash Distinguished Alumni Award for Inspirational Leadership and a Significant Contribution to the Theory and Practice of Drama. From 1995 to 2007, Lindy was Head of the School of Drama at the Victorian College of the Arts. She is presently directing in Europe and preparing a book on her approach to performance.
