Teams
The five teams invited to participate in the second round of the FilmLab program were once again selected by a panel of assessors including 2009 committee members Margaret Pomeranz (At The Movies) and Stephen Cleary. This year the committee was also joined by Hibiscus Films Producer, Bridget Ikin (An Angel At My Table, My Year Without Sex, Look Both Ways).
The team invited to participate in the FilmLab intensive as an 'observer team' were Julie Byrne (producer), Jason Sweeney (writer-director) and Fiona Sprott (writer). The 'observer team' participate in all aspects of the workshop and Jason and Julie will have an experimental feature film production outcome in 2012/2013.
The four teams who participated in the initial 2009 round of the FilmLab program were selected by a panel including Margaret Pomeranz, Scott Meek, Lindy Davies and Stephen Cleary.
A team was also selected in 2009 to participate as an 'observer team'. They were Matt Vesely (writer/director) and Sarah MacDonald (producer).
